On the look out for Zombie Cliff jumper. In the first few Episodes of Transformers Prime Cliff Jumper played by Dwayne the Rock Johnson was killed and turned into a ZOMBIE. Yes they found a way to incorporate Zombies into Transformers. Using DARK ENERGON, Megatron can revive dead Transformers, Dark Energon is the life blood of Unicron. SDCC had a Zombie Clifjumper toy at there COn but I guess you could also buy one at regular stores as well.
If you know where I can get one track me down here.

One thing I picked up at Borders in Shrewsbury since they are going out of bussiness is several copies of Vampire Hunter D the Book, (which took several years to translate into English) and the Manga book it became as well. Its great Vampire horror set in the 35th century or something its rather weird. Rumor is there is a Vampire Hunter D anime show in development, that would be epic as we have not seen any new animation since Bloodlust which was based on Book 3 of the series.
So finally it will be here in the states this summer, a great way to pass the time untill the 7th season begins in the fall.
Warner Bros. Television’s popular series SUPERNATURAL makes history this summer as SUPERNATURAL: THE ANIME SERIES is released in the United States as the first-ever live-action series to be re-imagined in Japanese anime style. The all-new, 22-episode animated series will be distributed July 26, 2011,
SUPERNATURAL, noted for its creative storytelling of the occult during its first six seasons on The CW Network, has also achieved great popularity across the planet – particularly in Japan. Inspired by its sensational following overseas, Warner Home Video Japan and renowned animation studio Madhouse combined forces to envision SUPERNATURAL as an anime series – first released in Japan and now translated for American audiences.
SUPERNATURAL: THE ANIME SERIES revisits the Winchester brothers’ journey down the back roads of America as they search for clues to their father’s disappearance, hunt down the supernatural in all its unearthly forms, and enter into the unexpected mystery of their destinies. The SUPERNATURAL anime episodes mirror the story arc of the series’ first two seasons, providing supplemental stories ranging from prequels and spin-offs to untold tales that fit within the SUPERNATURAL mythology.
Enhancing the connection to the live-action series, SUPERNATURAL star Jared Padalecki reprises his role as Sam Winchester for all 22 episodes. Padalecki’s SUPERNATURAL co-star Jensen Ackles also provides the voice of Dean Winchester in select anime episodes.
Padalecki and Ackles are also ever-present in the Blu-ray™ and DVD enhanced content. The SUPERNATURAL co-stars provide a video introduction to each of the 22 anime episodes and are also featured in a series of interviews that include conversations with live-action series creator Eric Kripke and SUPERNATURAL: THE ANIME SERIES directors Shigeyuki Miya and Atsuko Ishizuka.
Special features on the Blu-ray™ and DVD also include a two-part featurette, “The Making of Supernatural: The Anime Series,” an intriguing behind-the-scenes revelation of how the live-action series was actually re-imagined into its new art form.
Madhouse, working with full approval of Kripke, produced the series in full high-definition animation utilizing both American and Japanese creative teams. The Madhouse production team is headed by executive supervisor Masao Maruyama and directors Miya and Ishizuka. Takahiro Yoshimatsu and Kenichi Takefuji are in charge of character and art design.
Check out my review of Dead Space Aftermath, the new animated movie.
Shout Factory confirmed last week they will be releasing Transformers: Beast Wars on dvd this year, most likely later this summer around the time of Bay’s new film Dark of the Moon. They also made mention to release the Takara Box Sets on dvd for the first time ever in the states. These sets would include Headmasters, Masterforce,Victory and Zone. Scramble City was released back in 2006 as part of the 20th Anniversary of the orginial film.
No word yet if they also plan on doing Beast Wars 2 and Neo, which came out in Japan during the time of the American Beast Wars.
I do a great recommendation once in a while, check out Witchblade the Anime and The Tv Show both on complete DVD.
Both deal with monsters and the supernatural and hot babes, Yancy Butler play Det Pezzini and the Anime show is set in the future after the current wielder has passed on. The Anime show lasted 24 eps as did the live action show. The Anime was a great step with he character with a different wielder.
We have several guests coming on the show soon. One of the biggest would be the conductor from the Video Game orchastra. Some of there voice actors may also becoming on long ways till April so stayed tuned and we will anounce more info as we get it.
