Sad News John Hurt star of Alien The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, V for Vendetta, The Elephant Man and Hellboy and many other movies has passed away at the age of 77 due to cancer. Sir John Vincent Hurt, CBE was an English actor and voice actor whose career spanned six decades. My favorite role of his was from Alien and V for Vendetta. He has been in so many others over the years.      Our hearts are with you John.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE.

What better way to kick off the holiday today than looking at some pictures from the new Alien movie coming next year. It will have been five years since Prometheus was in theaters let’s see if the follow up will hold up. Thanks to So is it any good .com for the pictures.

well apparently fox brought a cease and desist notice against the site for the pictures posted. Don’t they want to help spread the good word of their movie rather than continue to tarnish their shitt reputation more and more. Guess not. Prometheus was a failure and they know it, they put Alien 2.5 on hold for no good reason.

Dr.Chris Record Spotlight: Alien

Once a week or month I will spot light a record from my collection.
Tonight we spotlight the ALIEN soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmithx composed by Lional Newman.
A creepy ominous score that really mirrors this great sci fi/horror classic. With out The music I don’t think it would have been as creepy at certain times during this movie.
It really enhances how scared you can get.

This record I just got on eBay. Loce collecting vynal.
The music was performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra.
