Inglourious movies

Posted in entertainment, movies, news on August 24, 2009 by chrisdsav

So like I posted last night “Inglourious Basterds” pulled in an impressive 38 million, the highest grossing movie of Tarantino’s career.
Also opened this weekend? The disappointing “Shorts” directed by Quentin’s BFF Robert Rodriguez. The kid flick pulled in only 8 million, making it the lowest grossing

Inglourious Basterds

Christina here.
So I ventured out to the movies last night and braved the mobs of teenagers to see Quentin Tarantino’s latest masterpiece “Inglourious Basterds” starring Brad Pitt. Now let me preface by saying I love Tarantino movies. And I loved Basterds. Kinda.
It was classic Quentin and visually you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed the dialouge, but the plot ran a little thin. It’s divided into chapters, and there’s plenty of gun fights and gore to keep you happy.
It feels like a long movie in someplaces and drags on in others. I feel like the climax should have been longer but all the loose ends get tied up nicely enough. I would have loved a little backstory on the Basterds themselves though the guy who plays Lands more then makes up for it with his delivery alone. All in all, great flick. 3 1/2 out of 5.

This movie was the first movie besides the collector I did not sPoil my self with too much no how of the movie. Neither should you its so worth seeing, and its so good. Check it out next week.
