THE GAME  has arrived! As many of you know who read my blog I have been talking about this for months.

The game is scheduled to be released on today in North America, 27th in Europe, and 28th in the UK for Playstation®3, PlayStation®Network, Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE® Games on Demand, and Steam® for PC.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 has been flagged as one of the most ambitious and epic games of the current generation and acts as a stunning conclusion to the Lords of Shadow saga. The game will see Dracula stranded in modern times and charged with thwarting the emergence of an even greater evil: Satan himself.

The story is as follows

Blood is Family. Blood is Power. Blood is Everything.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 returns in an epic adventure set in an open, modern day world. Fans of the series will play as Dracula for the very first time and uncover the shocking conclusion to the Lords of Shadow saga.

Pick it up today my review to follow soon

RIP Harold Ramis

Posted in Comedy, ghosts, movies, news on February 24, 2014 by chrisdsav

Well, let’s say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of psychokinetic energy in the New York area. Based on this morning’s sample, it would be a Twinkie… thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds.” Ride that twinkie to heaven, Ego. Godspeed.

When I heard this today I nearly cried not since the death of Christopher Reeve and gene Colon  have I shed a tear for a celebrity like this. HArold Ramis died at the age of 69 of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels.

Best known for his role in Ghostbusters 1 and 2 as Egon, as well as Stripes and  Animal House he directed and wrote as well as acted in. Ghostbusters he created with Dan Akroyd.

Its Sad if Bill Murray had not dragged his feet and been a bitch about the script for Ghostbusters 3 we could have had it

Not the movie about the girl who’s afraid of cars and is attacked by a psycho in the woods, but the trailer for the series. Is anyone interested? Its from the people who made American Beauty, Skyfall and Gladiator. Some people think its too sexy and filled with nudity images fro sex sake and I say that enhances the vibrant fetish this shows appeal will have to make people horny and open up to new things of gothic nature. Lets try not to be sooo close minded people.

It starts May 11th on Showtime, a good replacement for Dexter now that it ended on such a bad note, this looks gothic sexy fun and twisted. The kind of Horror I love.

LEGO GHOSTBUSTERS

Posted in Convention, ghosts, news, SciFi, Toys on February 18, 2014 by chrisdsav

Finally here! Just in time for Toy Fair 2014, we have your first look at the official LEGO Ghostbusters set, and it is pretty amazing. This is fantastic if you bought the Lego Monster set and now you can have the two interact. Lego are very expensive but this is one set I am definitely picking up. They have Lord of the Rings and Marvel and DC and TMNT and a MONSTER sets what not Freddy and Jason and Michael. They have the some bloody body count as the monsters do and they made Lego’s out of the villains from Marvel and DC comics, are you really going to tell me Carnage, Dr.Doom, The Green Goblin, Dark Side and even The Shredder don’t have a huge body count??

The line was original conceived by fan Brent Waller.

We’re thrilled to take the ECTO-1 and minifigure characters from Brent Waller’s Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary project…” said the company in a prior press release. “This is an amazing model, and the set will be a fantastic representation of the cult classic film.

The LEGO Ghostbusters will make their debut in early June. Fans will have the chance to build brick versions of Ecto-1, the ghost-fighting team’s classic vehicle, and play with minifigure versions of Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore.

COUNT DUCKULA

Posted in Comedy, horror/sci-fi cartoon, movies, news, tv, vampires on February 10, 2014 by chrisdsav

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers have a live action movie coming out like the Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmuncks (yes those movies sucked balls but they made BANK for Fox and Sony at the Box Office). Mr. Peabody has a movie coming out next month and  Sony is doing it again with their video game characters Ratchet and Clank
How about The British get in on the act with the one of the best cartoons ever made COUNT DUCKULA. Did you ever watch this its from the same UK company that made Danger Mouse. DM was a spoof on James Bond with animals. Kind of like Chip and Dale was. CD was like the spoof on Hammer Horror. The cast was spot on the settting was awsome. I have not seen too many British Cartoons. I may just not be aware them. If you follow my blog and live in the UK PLEASE let them know how good an idea this would be.

I stuck the theme song below from you tube cuz it kicks ass!!!!

Super 7 Alien glasses

Posted in aliens, news, websites on February 7, 2014 by chrisdsav

In the mail yesterday were my ALIEN drinking glasses. They are an omage to old school BURGER KING
image

glasses from back in the day like they did with Star Wars or more recently Star Trek 10. The art atyle.is indicative of how it would look back then.
They come with description of the art on the front of the glass. The images show the best scenes of the film. On the back of the box they came in you get pictures of ALIEN ReAction figures. Which are toys basee on the first film done in the style of star wars toys. Its based on toys that were made but then they realized how violent the movie was and not for kids. Check out http://www.super7store.com for more info. They will be on the show soon.

Playing as COUNT DRACULA

Posted in entertainment, Goth, Monsters, vampires, Video Games, websites on February 6, 2014 by chrisdsav

For the first time in Castlevania history you get to play as Count Dracula. This is very differant and unique as we never have played him. he is always a bad guy he goes wooo and says dumb things. I mean his boss fights are bad ass but lets face it Castlevania is mostly crawling thru the dungeon. I like how the development team talks about Near Dark and Bram Stoker’s Dracula being inspiration for how they created Castlevania Lord of Shadows 2. also there is a link to check out an interview with Robert Carlyle the actor who plays DRACULA.

MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT

Posted in entertainment, ghosts, Goth, Horror Babes, Video Games, websites on February 6, 2014 by chrisdsav
Release Date: 5/27/2014
Solve your own murder in this mystery game from Square Enix looks to be a great hit. Ghost Detectives have been done before. There was a great episode of The Real Ghostbusters where a dead detective teams up with the guys to help a thief now turned into a monster by an ancient Egypt amulet. The detective looked like Sam Spade, aka Humphrey Bogart.

In this you have a punk chick psychic and you deal with all manner of ghosts and other problems. Its coming out on X-Box 260 and One and PS3,4. Check out the trailer below. I am really looking forward to this coming out this summer.
