My only problem with this is we dont know much about the game line up what exclusive game will be available and what game are going to be on it that are on other platforms. Lets hope we learn the library soon.

AT LONG LAST and I know this was announced back in Feb but I only found out today. (one of my local Game Stops is run by morons sometimes not to be cruel but I have expressed interest in this game MULTIPLE times) This is coming June 5th.

The game focuses on Dr. Jonathan Reid and his affliction with vampirism. As he encounters various citizens of 1918 London, Reid struggles with the juxtaposition between his duty to heal as a doctor and his need to feed as a vampire. Should players choose to indulge Reid’s curse, they must decide which citizens will become his next victims and, depending on how intimately Reid gets to know those citizens, how Reid will live with the consequences of his curse.

Also there is an amazing cover of the Blue Oyster Cult Song Here as the them to the Game

End of an Era

Toys R Us is going out of business.

Big news for Horror sci-fi and fnatasy toy fans video game collectors and more.

After months of speculation and financial trouble in the bankruptcy process, the once-frequented toy store chain is closing up shop.

On NPR just an hour ago , Toys R Us alerted employees Wednesday that the store’s parent company would be closing all of its United States locations or selling them. The news comes just hours after the company announced plans to close all of its United Kingdom stores.

The information came from an anonymous source, NPR said, as the company has yet to file an official liquidation, publicly at least. That source said they’re unaware how long it would be before stores start shutting down.

Toys R Us, founded in 1948 at Children’s Discount Supermarts, was the go-to place for generations of kids looking to pick up the latest toy or video game. At one time, Toys R Us was a cultural phenomenon, and people knew the company’s name from shopping sprees on gameshows to the can’t-miss appearance of Geoffrey the giraffe.

With my local store there has barley been any employees to find help with.

Stores have already started closing as part of an earlier wave of shutdowns, so expect an official filing in the coming days.

I just heard the news today we lost Author Jack Ketchum.

Reported on his Facebook page yesterday afternoon by his webmaster

I am really broken up over this I cant even express how I feel

I have never had a guest on my show more often than I have Jack Ketchum since I started Radio of Horror back in 2007. Dallas to his friends.  I could call Dallas anytime and he would always call me back. We would chat on the phone for HOURS about movies. He gave me a letter of recommendation to a job I desperately wanted back 2011. Jack beat Cancer back in 2016, unfortunately it returned and has lost his battle, you will be missed Dallas.

Please check his site for update info on memorial services.

Michael C. Hall former star of the tv series Dexter will be narrating Pet Sematary

Stephen King said in a statement that “Readers have been asking for this audio book for a very long time.  I know the listening experience will be worth the wait with Michael as narrator.”

Simon & Schuster Audio president and publisher Chris Lynch was also happy to share the news, saying that the company was “…thrilled to finally bring Pet Sematary to King’s audio book fans.  Michael C. Hall is a perfect match for this timeless story, which has long deserved an unabridged production.”
