Posted in entertainment, Goth, Horror Babes, movies, news, Zombies on July 29, 2013 by chrisdsavMy long time friend Pam and new co host giving it a try last night on Radio of Horror show her the love you show me.
Ever wonder what it would be like if the Breakfast club was set during a zombie plague?
(wait, that actually doesn’t sound so bad)
How about some added fart jokes and bad acting?
Yeah, I didn’t think so.
The cliches (I mean characters!), all meet in detention. The nerd has a crush on the cheerleader, the goth chick has a crush on him. The cheerleaders boyfriend is a bully who along with the jock tortures the nerd. The stoner apparently has no interaction with anyone before this day. Willow, the goth, is watching the George Romero classic, Night of the Living Dead when some random students gets zombified from a bite on his hand. Then some how there’s zombies all over the school. Some of the zombies are fast, some are slow, and all are oozing black stuff from their mouths.
There’s a ton of juvenile humor, stoner jokes…

Posted in entertainment, movies, news, websites on July 24, 2013 by chrisdsavComing soon to blu ray another release of Halloween. At one hand Horror fans are spoiled with somethings never going out of print and getting cool bonus material and sometimes we are exploited and dont get anything like The Blu-ray of Night of the Living Dead(1990), The Amazing Adventures of the Living Corpse, Fright Night the original, Fright Night part 2, and so on and so forth.

6 Souls
Posted in entertainment, movies on July 16, 2013 by chrisdsavStaring Juliane Moore and John Rhys Meyers. Moore plays a criminal psycholigist who gets a nee patient at the request of her father. This new patient had 6 differant personalites in him. This film comes from Anchor Bay and I was very excited to see it based on the cast. Moore is awsome in everything she does. Meyers is a great actor and loved him as Elvis years ago. His next role is playing Dracula in the upcoming new show on NBC. This movie had a great cast bit lacked in plot development and had a ending which I thought fell flat. I also wonder why the blu ray has no bonus material what so ever. Good cast ok film. Worht a watch if you like the actors kind of film.

Hellboy (2004)
Posted in Comic Books, entertainment, Monsters, movies on July 10, 2013 by chrisdsavOne of my favorite Del toro movies, read Dan’s review
The Christian groups demanded “Heavenboy”, but Mel Gibson got that project.
In 1944, as soon as WWII was getting closer and closer to ending, some of Hitler’s Nazis occult experiments go wrong. Terribly wrong. By this, I mean that through a transportation device, somehow, a little red, devil-ish creature got stuck over here on Earth and was soon named Hellboy (Ron Perlman) by his founder, paranormal expert Professor Bruttenholm (John Hurt). Cut to 60 years later, and that little red baby is a full-on, grown man with muscles, wit, and cigar-smoking and all. He also just so happens to be a government-funded crime fighter that has to be kept secret from the outside world, but all of that turns to shit once a scary dude, Rasputin (Karel Roden), comes back for revenge for the 60 years prior and wants it now, at any cost.
Some of you may find this…

More Horror TV
Posted in Comedy, entertainment, SciFi, tv, vampires on July 9, 2013 by chrisdsavDEXTER The Final Season, The Mini Series UNDER THE DOME, HOLLISTON S2, TRUE BLOOD S6, BURN NOTICE the finale season. DEFIANCE S1. Wow there is a ton of great horror and scifi tv on the air this summer if you dont want to go to the movies. Burn Notice may be a spy show but stars the great horror Icon Bruce Campbell. Defiance in my opinion is the best new show of the year. Also networks are airing remainder episodes of Cult and Park Ave666 even tho they were cancelled its still horror tv.
