PRESS RELEASE
11/21/10
Horrorwood, CA – SHELLTER, a ‘squirm in your seat’ horror film, is now available on IndieFlix.com in time for Halloween.
In the vein of Hostel and Saw, SHELLTER tells the story of a young woman who awakens in an old fallout shelter after a biological event and finds she must do unspeakable things to others or they will do terrible things to her.
The fallout shelter’s doctor and his insane nurse (Maria Olsen, Percy Jackson: Lightning Thief) treat a steady stream of patients with gruesome results.
The doctor wants the girl to replace the unbalanced nurse but the girl has to decide what she is willing to do to survive. The viewer has to make that same decision: How far would you go to survive?
Filmmaker Dan Donley says SHELLTER is loosely based on the Milgram experiments of the 1960’s that tested how far people would go in a similar situation. Based results of the experiment, people can be persuaded to do almost anything.
SHELLTER been the official selection of 13 film festivals and has been nominated for many awards including Best Feature in six of the film fests, winning twice.
You can buy the DVD or download SHELLTER at: http://www.indieflix.com/film/shellter-31701/
SHELLTER will also be available on Amazon.com next month.
For more information on SHELLTER, including more press materials, cast list and photos, please visit http://shelltermovie.com/

She said she thinks Erving recognized her during that first meeting. I stood in line for an autographed ball, and I didnt really want to. And I got there. I just stood in line to see what he looked like. And I got up there, he asked me if I wanted a ball, and I said `no, and I walked away.
