Posted in entertainment, Goth, Horror Movies, locations, Monsters with tags , on October 31, 2014 by chrisdsav

Tonight is Halloween night, come out and get candy trick or treat and wear costumes, make sure you light a pumpkin and never walk alone.

First I have to thank everyone who follows me on here I am closing in on 300 subscribers and I have close to 40,000 viewers this really means a lot to me. I started this site two years after I launched my show on wcuw 91.3 fm in Worcester MA.

I will be at the Davis Square Cinema in Somerville MA for the play Nevermore an Evening with Edgar Allen Poe. Its a One man play performed by Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, Frightners)  It starts at 8:00 pm est followed by the movie Mask Of the Red Death staring Vincent Price, and directed by Roger Corman. I will be dressed as the Grimm Reaper. I will be walking around Somerville handing out non candy goodies. Why non candy cuz I don’t want to get someone sick if they have an allergy, other wise I would lol.

Tomorrow I will be at the RI Comic con.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch

Posted in entertainment, Goth, Horror Babes, Monsters, Satan, SciFi, witches on October 30, 2014 by chrisdsav

For those who don’t know Archie has had a foot in the Horror industry for half a year now with the hugely popular After life with Archie where a Zombie Apocolypse comes to Riverdale. Partly caused by Sabrina resurrecting Jugheads dog.

Now we all know the tv show staring Melisa Joan Hart but it was actually based on an Archie Comic Book character who first appeared in Archie’s Madhouse #22 October 1962.
Now we have the Chilling Adventure of Sabrina.
In this we learn the new darker origin of one of the most popular witches around. Story and art by Roberto Aguirre-Sarcasm and Robert Hack.

This is a new gothic twisted origin of the witch from Riverdale. The comic is monthly and will contain a back classic Sabrina story so you get a little more for your buck evry month. Sabrina has been in hot demand since Afterlife with Archie started. Check out the perfect comic for Halloween.

New film from Adam Green

Posted in entertainment, Found Footage, Monsters on October 28, 2014 by chrisdsav

New movie from the mind of Adam Green a fellow filmmaker and Horror fan from Holliston Ma the same state as Radio of Horror

Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, has acquired all U.S. rights to the highly anticipated fantasy film DIGGING UP THE MARROW.  Starring, written and directed by Adam Green and inspired by the artwork of artist Alex Pardee, the film stars Ray Wise (Twin Peaks, X-Men First Class), Will Barratt (Frozen), and a roster full of horror genre favorites and iconic artists all appearing as themselves.  Mark Ward, RLJ Entertainment’s Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for the Image brands made the announcement today.

“We’ve had a long, productive working relationship with Adam Green and we are extremely excited to continue to work with him on this film,” said Ward.  “Adam brings an uncanny point-of-view to filmmaking and DIGGING UP THE MARROW is one that fans of genre films will certainly rally around.”

When filmmaker Adam Green receives a package from a strange man (Ray Wise) claiming he can prove that monsters exist, he and his crew are taken on a mysterious, fantastical, and terrifying journey into the shadows deep down under the ground below our feet. DIGGING UP THE MARROW is a documentary-style film that blends reality with fantasy in a way that will leave even the most hardcore skeptics believing in the existence of monsters.

DIGGING UP THE MARROW is the result of an incredibly rewarding four-year creative collaboration,” said Green.   “It’s a very unique film that doesn’t neatly fit into any specific sub-genre that has come before it.  We’ve been thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response that MARROW has received at early screenings.”

The monsters in the film are vividly brought to life by visionary American Artist and Trans-Media-Artistry Pioneer, Alex Pardee.  Pardee has showcased his fine art in galleries around the world; acted as an art director for numerous bands (including ‘The Used’ and I’n Flames’); worked with film directors such as Quentin Tarantino and Edgar Wright on art-based-marketing campaigns; and provided extensive artwork for director Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch.  In 2007, Alex co-founded “ZEROFRIENDS,” an art and apparel company that he is currently the Creative Director of.

Ok Radio of Horror Review of the ABC of Death 2

timewantsaskeleton

The follow up to the original film makes you rethink your fragile existence with 26 more interesting short films of bizarre deaths. Not all of these are horror (though many are). The plots range from sadistic killers to vacations gone bad to children’s fantasies gone awry. Most are live action, but some are claymation or animated. Some send chills down your spine while others are quite poignant, and another references The Three Stooges.

Some of Radio Of Horror’s favorites:A is for Amatuer gets the ball rolling with an action packed romp about a beginner level assassin. The most bizarre short was D for Deloused directed by Robert Morgan who is known for directing Tool music videos which are also bafflingly creepy. Believe that this stop motion animated freakshow of beheadings and bugs will make your skin crawl. E is for Equilibrium  switches the tone to something completely different with castaways…

Found

Ever make your own Horror movie how about a star in your own Horror movie, a movie that was real that kind of the plot of FOUND. Based on the novel of the same name

A boy discovers that his brother is a serial killer after finding a severed head in his closet. A gory stylized horror movie that has been banned in several countries.Worth checking out and just as twisted as a horror movie could be. The move has many awards

Under Wraps

A new animated movie done with stiff CGI and staring how the mighty have fallen Brooke Shields and Mathew Lliard

About a family of archeologist that go on an adventure and the son finds a hidden tomb that belongs to a long dead pharaoh with a curse. They bring home a talisman mom and dad become Mummies and a giant demon mummy follows them home. I watched this with my son and really wanted to like t for kids they would enjoy it but as an adult I have seen better animation and plot lines in much better movies. I hate the main character he looks so expressionless and so does the rest of the cast. Why is the Mummy blue I don’t understand that at all. The older sister is annoying and suppose to be the mean girl os the story and she comes across as just bland and the parents are clueless. Don’t make a horror animated movie for kids and dumb it down soo much its annoying for parents to watch.Hotel Transylvania and Box Trolls and Paranorman have done it so much better. In 1997 Disney Channel had a movie with the same name I never saw it but te mummy in the movie looks pretty cool for a made for tv move and might be better than this.

real documentary about 5 friends who set out to uncover the culture of underground haunted houses. Brandy Schaefer, Mikey Roe, Bobby Roe, Zack Andrews and Jeff Larsen are longtime friends who set out in an RV to 9 different haunts. Interviews are not scripted or manipulated in anyway, and the truth is more horrifying than the lie in this flick. People running haunted horror events notoriously don’t run background checks… some of the things participants say are down right deviant and terrifying. There are multiple actual news reports related about people dying in haunted houses while pranking their friends and no one knows until long after the night’s over.

The crew travels across Texas in search of the most frightening events October has to offer. Along the way, they hit up all types of attractions (including zombie paintball) …and then they go in search of the Holy Grail of…

Queen Gorya

Posted in Comedy, entertainment, Horror Babes, tv on October 13, 2014 by chrisdsav

A kick starter I helped fund last year is now love. The Pilot episode written and produced and directed by the star Satu Runa can now be seen on her sight check it out if your a fan of old school horror hosts. Its very similar to Scott and the Book of Pure Evil in tone of Comedy Horror. She is a washed up Horror host doing conventions to get by. The lines of dialog are funny and witty like acusing some female student of wanting to film Gorya being ganged banged bu a group of Sparkly Vampires.

The humor is that raunchy its a fun show check it out

Alien Isolation

Posted in aliens, entertainment, Goth, Horror Babes, Horror Movies, Monsters, movies, news, SciFi, Video Games on October 7, 2014 by chrisdsav

Holy mother of God
First thing make sure you have room on your hard drive for this game I had to download some major software into my Xbox 360, and now I have no more room in time and space.

I didn’t play much if the major campaign as I wanted to jump right into the extra bonus material staring Sigourney Weaver who comes back to play Ellen Ripley. Yahhhhh

The main game starts with Ripley doing a voice over about the events in the movie Alien. This btw is not taken from the movie but actually recorded this year by Weaver herself. In fact all the cast members come back.
With the exception of Yahto aka Parker as he has passed away.

image

When the alien comes it’s scary I played this in the Dark and wowowow I scares the crap out of my self.
You do get the flame thrower right away but you use so much fuel quickly and if the Alien attacks you from behind YOUR DEAD. Sorry bye bye now. A frontal attack you cHoose dodge but still take some damage.
This game is Hard just warning you.
A horror survival game really living up to the words Horror Survival.
I can’t wait till next week when the Evil Within comes out and we can see if it’s as scary as this.

Movie Review: Grave Halloween (2013)

Posted in entertainment, ghosts, Horror Babes, Horror Movies, SciFi, tv on October 4, 2014 by chrisdsav

Pam reviews this syfy channel J Horror wanna be

timewantsaskeleton

This film market itself as “J-Horror” despite the fact that it is a SyFy Original and has a predominantly white cast (even though it is set in Japan, which is another topic entirely). The main character, Maiko (Kaitlyn Leeb, who has set herself to be a big time B-Horror babe with roles in Wrong Turn 4, the three-breasted woman in Total Recall, upcoming film Wolves and a recurring role on “Bitten”) sets a college thesis project with classmates at her college in Japan (full of white people) to find where her mother committed suicide and perform an exorcism. This will be filmed. And she intends to perform an exorcism. Their journey lead them into the famous “Suicide Forest”

maxresdefault

We start out with vague dreams and memories from Maiko’s youth, she is on a swing and her mother turns into… pretty much the girl from The Ring. Or The Grudge.
