It should be out this fall that’s what the last kickstarter update said. They want to have it ready to ship by October, but at the same time we don’t want them to rush and us complain about all the mistakes the game has. I can’t wait to get it and review that game. If you want to know more about it check out my interview with the game developers here, If you want to check out more of my interviews click the link below to be taken to my you tube channel.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Poster
Posted in horror, Marvel, news, superheroes with tags comic books, Marvel, Movies, Spider-Man on August 18, 2016 by chrisdsavWe know who the cast is, there is not much to talk about with a film I have not seen yet. I’m very excited to see Michael Keaton playing Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture. I don’t understand how Hollywood has avoided casting a red head in Spider-Man for the second time. A REAL red head not a dye job blonde or burnette. Where is the ginger love????
I may be a horror host and love all things Horror…..but Star Wars and Spider-Man top that horror list any day of the week. It goes all the way back to my childhood. This was just released online the poster for Spider-Man Homecoming. The picture was snagged by Frightrags.
I’m really looking forward to this, his performance in Captain America Civil War was ….AMAZING

The Handmaiden
Posted in horror, Horror Movies, international, news, thriller with tags Park Chan-wook on August 4, 2016 by chrisdsavNew film from director Park Chan-wook the man behind the thrillers Oldboy and Stoker
Starring Kim Min-hee, Ha Jung-woo, Kim Tae-ri and Cho Jin-woong
His movies are always a real delight with great twists and thrills I am interested in this one coming out soon.
From PARK Chan-wook, the celebrated director of OLDBOY, LADY VENGEANCE, THIRST and STOKER, comes a ravishing new crime drama inspired by the novel ‘FINGERSMITH’ by British author Sarah Waters. Having transposed the story to 1930s-era colonial Korea and Japan, Park presents a gripping and sensual tale of a young Japanese Lady living on a secluded estate, and a Korean woman who is hired to serve as her new handmaiden, but who is secretly involved in a conman’s plot to defraud her of her large inheritance. Powered by remarkable performances from KIM Min-hee (RIGHT NOW, WRONG THEN) as Lady Hideko, HA Jung-woo (THE CHASER) as the conman who calls himself the Count and sensational debut actress KIM Tae-ri as the maid Sookee, THE HANDMAIDEN borrows the most dynamic elements of its source material and combines it with PARK Chan-wook’s singular vision and energy to create an unforgettable viewing experience.
“Expectations are fully met in Park Chan-wook’s exquisitely filmed The Handmaiden (Agassi),an amusingly kinky erotic thriller and love story that brims with delicious surprises.”
– Deborah Young, The Hollywood Reporter
Dr.Chris Record Spotlight: Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice
Posted in Comic Books, DC Comics, music, vinyl with tags comic books, vinyl on August 1, 2016 by chrisdsavBoston Comic Con is coming up and I thought this be a great time to do a comic vinyl review.
Love or hate the movie it had a really great score. Hans Zimmer can make some great music or its music we have heard over and over before. For me I think this score really helps the film. You can see him trying new music ques that we have heard a little of in the Man of Steel movie but really trying to separate the score from the Dark Night Trilogy. His music is REALLY going to be your own opinion. I know a lot of people who think his over use of strings sucks. One song in particular I love is what’s become known as Wonder Woman’s theme. It’s a rock roaring kick ass piece of music that truly captures how fucking awesome Gal Gadot is as the the Warrior Princess.
The score was recorded with the Hollywood Studio Symphony along with Hans Junkie XL joins him for this films epic music.
Do I wish BvS had some music from John Williams or Danny Elfman YES of course who do a net but those are differant films in other franchises. With the vinyl set you get 3 records a poster and a digital copy of the soundtrack for your traveling devises.
One of the vinyl have this engraved image of Batman and Superman and it looks fantastic. Problem is I’m not an expert photographer and could only capture a glimpse of this cool image.
I really recommend this set for anyone who is a vinyl collector and a comic book fan. Here is a link to WaterTower music where you can pick up a copy of this great soundtrack
